FEDERAL FIREARMS LICENSES
Triple J Armory is happy to facilitate both private and dealer FFL transfers.
We process lots of transfers, and the process is quick and easy!
TRANSFER FROM ANOTHER DEALER OR AN ONLINE PURCHASE
- 01 Process and finalize your transaction with the dealer and begin checkout
- 02 Choose or indicate Triple J Armory as the destination FFL
- 03 Checkout
TRANSFER FROM ANOTHER PERSON (LOCAL)
- If you are local to us and would like to transfer ownership of a firearm, swing by the shop and we'll get you taken care of!
- 01 Both parties meet at Triple J Armory, no appointment is necessary!
- 02 The buyer will run a background check and the transfer process will begin.
- 03 Once an approval is received, the transfer can occur.
REQUIREMENTS:
- ▶ Copy of a valid drivers license for the both parties
- ▶ Phone number for both parties
TRANSFER FROM ANOTHER PERSON (NOT LOCAL)
- We are one of the few shops in Denver metro that will allow inbound transfers from individuals and other dealers.
- 01 The seller will ship the firearm to Triple J Armory following all laws & requirements.
- 02 The buyer will run a background check and the transfer process will begin.
INITIATE A TRANSFER FROM ANOTHER DEALER OR AN ONLINE PURCHASE
To initiate a transfer from another dealer or an online purchase, please email [email protected] with a copy of the FFL and information on the shipment.
SHIPPING INFO & TRANSFER FEES
- ALL INCOMING FIREARMES SHIPMENTS MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING IN THE PACKAGE:
- ▶ Signed copy of dealer’s FFL (if firearm is being shipped by a dealer or distributor)
- ▶ Copy of a valid drivers license for the transferor (if firearm is being shipped by an individual)
- ▶ Phone number and contact name
- ▶ Name, phone number and address of transferee or buyer
- ▶ Make, model and serial number of the item being transferred
It may take up to 72 hours for firearms to be checked in and prepared for pickup after arriving.
Customers will be called as soon as their firearm is ready for pickup at our facility. If you need to ship a firearm to another authorized FFL dealer we can help facilitate the shipment!
Member Transfer Fee
- $40 First item
- $20 Each additional item (per transaction, includes background check)
Non-Member Transfer Fee
- $60 First item
- $40 Each additional item (per transaction, includes background check)
NFA Transfer Fee
- $100 Each item
